CHIM celebrates 19th Founding Anniversary

In line with the 19th Founding Anniversary of CHIM, the college recently have the CHIM Olympics 2014: An Intercampus Skills Competition last September 22-24, 2014. This CHIM Olympics 2014 showcase students’ hospitality skills and uplift the spirit of camaraderie, competence and rapport across all OLFU Campuses. The three (3) OLFU campuses namely, Valenzuela City, Quezon City and Antipolo City participated in this first-ever skills competition.

CHIM Olympics started last September 22, 2014, Monday at San Lorenzo Hall, MPH in OLFU Valenzuela City where Cake Display Competition and Table Setting Competition held. The theme for these categories was Pope Francis Visit on January 2015. Tour Guiding Competition, Flairtending Competition, Bedmaking Competition and Table Napkin Folding Competition held at OLFU Quezon City campus at the Athletic Centre.

The winners of the different competitions are:


1st Place – OLFU, Quezon City – Paolo Ilagan and Elgie Goyonan

2nd Place – OLFU, Valenzuela City – Christine Bacani and John Wayne Garcia

3rd Place – OLFU, Antipolo City – Angelika Alforte, and Roxanne Jean De Guzman


1st Place – OLFU, Valenzuela City- Michelle Casaul, Maria Angelika Deato, and Ma. Leonora Dayrit

2nd Place – OLFU, Valenzuela City- Joan Caudilla, Carmela Jane Baccay and Eloisa Mae Buiza

3rd Place – OLFU, Quezon City- Paolo Ilagan, Elgie Goyonan and Jul Kevin Solomon


1st Place – OLFU, Valenzuela City – Minerva Masaquit

2nd Place – OLFU, Antipolo City – Cloverly Gusto

3rd Place – OLFU, Quezon City – Rafael delos Santos
