OLFU KAIROS ALUMNI LEGACY PROGRAM (KALP)
Alumni engagement means building stronger connections between the alumni and their alma mater — Our Lady of Fatima University. Alumni support to OLFU’s community of learners, establishes a vital link between our graduates and students, helping the latter realize academic success.
The Alumni Legacy Program addresses the growing financial needs of students through the aid of alumni funding. The Alumni Affairs Office is committed to be the conduit between the donor and the recipient. In summary, the program is labeled “KAIROS “— meaning, the right time, season, or opportunity. When the time is right, the partnership between the alumni and the students provides the avenue for accomplishment for the next generation’s leaders and professionals.
WHO ARE QUALIFIED?
• Grant is open to all current OLFU Students
• No grade point qualifications
• Free from any existing scholarships or discounts from OLFU
WHAT COMPRISES KALP?
A. Scholarship: per semester/ per year / once (half or full year)
B. Academic Support: 1 school year (half or full)
• Books for undergraduate students
• Gadget subsidy (laptop or iPad)
• Trainings (OJT/ Internship/ Related Learning Experience
C. Miscellaneous Subsidy: Half or Full
• Dorm: 1 semester or 1 year
• Food allowance
• Transportation allowance
D. Open Subsidy: given according to your heart’s desire either to a nominated student or to a particular project/ endeavor
* Funding may be given individually, as a group, or as a batch
The Alumni can choose to which campus they desire to donate (Valenzuela, Quezon City, Antipolo, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Laguna)
How to apply?
• Interested recipients should write a letter to their respective college deans or program heads
• Candidates are interviewed; their application is evaluated
• The deans/ program heads make their recommendations after the screening process
WHEN IS KALP AWARDED?
• The support from alumni is given at the end of each school year – June of every year
• The Alumni Affairs Office shall make a report of all grants/ donations awarded to all students

Scholarship Applications
Scholarships provide an opportunity for people to pursue their education without the trouble of paying for it. Scholarships can fill financial gaps and decrease the chances and need for loans that people usually opt for to finish their studies.
Payment Plans
We know that facing a large lump sum payment can be financially intimidating that’s why OLFU offers Payment Plans that allow students to make several smaller payments on an agreed upon schedule until they have paid off the full amount of OLFU’s tuition fees.
