Overview

The OLFU Senior High School (SHS) comprises Grades 11 and 12, the last 2 years of the K-12 Basic Education curriculum, which envisions to “holistically developed learners with 21st century skills”. Students go through a core curriculum and subjects based on the chosen specialization or Strand which will prepare them on their preferred career path.

HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES STRAND (HumSS)

HumSS Strand introduces SHS students to the basic subjects of Social Sciences and Languages. This is the ideal strand for those who are planning to take up journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, education, and other social science related courses in college. Taking this track gives you an opportunity to become a teacher, a psychologist, a lawyer, a writer, a social worker, a reporter, or even a priest. This strand focuses on improving your communication and social skills.

• Original F-137 (claim request letter from OLFU Admissions Office)
• Original or Certified True Copy of Certificate of Junior High School Completion
• Original Certificate of Good Moral Character issued in the current year
• Two (2) identical copies of recent 2”x2” studio photo (white background)
• Clear photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
• Original Education Service Contracting (ESC) Certificate / Qualified Voucher Recipient (QVR) Certificate (if coming from private school)
