Being in the forefront of educational reforms and flexible learning options, OLFU is one of a few select schools to be granted the Certificate of Authority by the Commission of Higher Education (CHEd), allowing it to conduct limited face-to-face classes in the midst of the COVID-10 pandemic; a testament to the university’s established and effective community safety protocols.

Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy

This is a four-year degree program aimed at developing competencies in a variety of professional contexts by delivering high-quality, value-based client or patient care outcomes. The goal of this program is to train practitioners in health maintenance and promotion, function restoration, disability adaptation and accommodation, human performance optimization, and skill acquisition or re-acquisition.

The curriculum aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, caring, ethical, professional, and service-oriented. It contributes to OLFU’s academic purpose of “improving man as man” by teaching talented graduate-level professionals in health care and rehabilitation. It also prepares future graduates for research, lifelong learning, and community-based collaboration.
