On 04 December 2020, the Mind Masters declared the Psychology Society (Psych Soc) of the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) Quezon City Campus as the 1st Runner-Up in the Product/Service Innovation category of the AIA Philam LifeHackers 2020, an innovation contest organized by the AIA Philam Life Group that gathered creative thinkers to generate ideas to help the company fulfill its aims toward helping more Filipinos live healthier, longer, better lives in the future.
After standing out from 202 national contenders in the preliminary round down to 15 teams in the final round, the stellar Psych Soc team composed of Tracy Anne Pangilinan, Honeylyn Besañez, Raquel Sarah Dimanaza, Alquin Ignacio, and Patricia Gail Po bagged the 1st Runner-up prize with their pitch entitled “AIA Link Protect 1.0 & 2.0.”
The students credit their enthusiasm for highlighting their advocacies towards mental health disorders that powered them to strive in creating unconventional life insurance plans.
The competition was held online via the Lifehackers.ph centerstage and Microsoft Teams.
