The “Home of Top-notchers” once again breaks into the stringent World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) after intensive assessment this year.

A non-profit program that uses global methodology in measuring the contributions of higher education institutions around the world, WURI named Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) among Top 50 Fourth Industrial Revolution Awardees for 2023.

In an earlier statement on Facebook, OLFU affirmed that the esteemed nod is telling of the university’s deliberate, no less rewarding efforts in the pursuit of excellence.

“This recognition highlights the exceptional progress and initiatives in seamlessly integrating digital technology, artificial intelligence, cloud services, and other cutting-edge innovations into its daily operations and services,” OLFU stated in responding to the honor anew, 23 of May 2023.

Simultaneously, the 56-year-old innovating OLFU continues to solidify its legacy as it claims the prestigious Global Top Innovative Universities (Top 101-200) award for two years in a row.

“This recognition acknowledges the university’s significant contributions to society, its innovative research endeavors, and its forward-thinking educational programs,” OLFU said in the same statement.

Meanwhile, this year’s tough selection for the global ranking was metered via six major categories namely the Industrial Application, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Ethical Value, Student Mobility and Openness, Crisis Management, and Fourth Industrial Revolution.

WURI in its official website transparently disclosed that “no marketing activities [were] involved with this program or its participants.”
