OLFU Silver Award by IPOPHL

Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) proudly received the Silver Award at the ITSO 2.0 Presidents’ Summit by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) on 18 March 2024, at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City.

Representing OLFU during the awarding were Joseph Carlo Vital, Assistant to Dr. Michael Joseph S. Dino, Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) Manager and Director for OLFU’s Research Development and Innovation Center; and Jann Vincent Ong, ITSO Member.

Their efforts highlighted the university’s ongoing commitment to excellence, emphasizing OLFU’s pioneering contributions to research and development.

The ITSO 2.0 Presidents’ Summit centered on the theme “ITSO: Celebrating Collaboration, Cultivating Innovation,” providing an opportunity for meaningful discussions and engagements among industry leaders, policymakers, and academia.

The summit recognized ITSO members who met the 2023 deliverables for ITSO 2.0 Clustering and provided updates on the program’s implementation.

It is worth recalling that OLFU bagged the same distinction in 2023, vouching for the consistency of the institution’s impressive in-house patent library.

As OLFU continues to strive for excellence, this prestigious award demonstrates its continuous dedication to innovation and intellectual property management.

As OLFU continues to pursue knowledge and advancement, the future holds even more astonishing achievements.
