Two students, Mark Joshua Cruz and Gian Paulie Bolneo, came away with the 1st Runner-Up award in an Inter-School Quiz Bee Competition held last 21 July 2016.
Held at the Century Park Hotel in Manila, Cruz and Bolneo represented the Department of Respiratory Therapy from the College of Physical Therapy, Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) in the said tilt. With the support of Respiratory Therapy Program Head Agnes Martin, the duo out-performed competitors from other schools in the elimination round, and emerged as 2nd placers in the final round.
Entitled “Pautakan Baga 2015”, the contest aims to promote camaraderie and to unite respiratory-therapy professionals and students alike. Organized by the Association of Respiratory Care Practitioners, Phil., Inc., the event coincided with the observance of National Respiratory Care Week.
