With 41 teams battling it out in a nationwide, interschool Quiz Bee, three interns from the College of Physical Therapy of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU- CPT) did not disappoint as they emerged as 2nd Placers by the end of the competition.
Set at the Medicine Auditorium of the University of Santo Tomas, the contest carried the theme, KINETIQ 2018: The Last Olympian, and saw 16 schools and universities field their PT student contestants. Out of the 41 teams, only 10 remained for the final round which included Fatima’s Valenzuela Campus and Antipolo Campus. The ultimate outcome: OLFU-CPT interns John Matthew Zarate, Arielle Nicole Capulong and Sarah Al-balawi of OLFU Valenzuela ran home with the TOP 2 spot in the quiz face-off. Consequently, the teams from the Angles University Foundation took both the 1st and 3rd Places.
Participation in the event was made possible through the support of OLFU’s administrators and OLFU-CPT Dean, Dr. Mary Anne Santos. As importantly, well-deserved recognition goes out to the expert coaches and professors who not only shared their treasure trove of knowledge, but also invested their valuable time in preparing the students for the tilt.
