The College of Physical Therapy is beaming with pride once again as four Fatimanians rocked the February 2024 Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination, securing spots in the distinguished topnotcher list.

With an impressive 90 percent rating, Sancia Louise Bernabe, Muhammad Alnashri Ismail, and Ma. Kristina Tan claimed Eighth Place. On the other hand, Angelica Piñgol earning an outstanding 89.50 percent exam finish, landed in Tenth Place.

These new topnotchers have joined the ranks of several names who have earlier sustained the triumph for the College in the same board exam including Stephen Jhonn Padon (Top 5) and Shaira Abdurajak (Top 7) in 2022, among sixteen others over the years.

Meanwhile, 94 more Fatimanians secured their licenses following the latest state assessment that was conducted on February 6-7, 2024.

For OLFU, these results only mirror the commitment of the College to produce graduates equipped with critical and analytical thinking skills who will lead the pulmonary care workforce.

As of writing, the Bachelor of Respiratory Therapy is a program exclusively offered at the Valenzuela campus for the OLFU system.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 1,077 of the 1,383 takers passed the state exam.

The Board of Respiratory Therapy headed by Chairwoman Julita Toledo masterminded the licensure examination.

PRC has yet to announce the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees. –Raymond Lumagsao
