Our Lady of Fatima University through the College of Business & Accountancy (CBA) competed for the 2nd time in the National Championship Competition of the Business Idea and Development Award (BIDA) 2013 sponsored by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) held last October 3, 2013 at the B.A. Securities Hall, Commerce and Industry Plaza, Mckinley Town Center, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Through the leadership of CBA’s faculty, DR. ETHELBERT P. DAPITON, the university presented two entries: One is under the Service Category, “MANG JANI LABS U, INC” presented by the following students from the Marketing Management Department: Ms. Fatima Macale, Mr. Ken Jonathan Aton, Mr. Louis Kenneth Dorado, Ms. Hyacinth Yllana Tomas and Ms. Carissa Rodriguez; and one is under the Technology Category, “ HOUSING OPPORTUNITY FOR URBAN SETTLERS ENDEAVOR (HOUSE)” presented by the following students from the Business Management Department : Ms. Fregie Omee Calderon, Mr. Louis Anteg, Ms. Anne Jeanette Antonio, Ms. Vanessa Bellen and Mr. Jeric Menoy.
Today’s BIDA 2013 had 42 participating entries from the different Colleges/Universities nationwide but only 18 entries qualified, and OLFU was so fortunate to win 3rd place in the Technology Category for its entry “HOUSE.”
