On September 6, 8, and 9, 2022, a Patent Information Search Seminar and Contest was hosted by the Adamson University Innovation and Technology Support Office, along with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). A mix of academic institutions, law firms, and corporations coming from various points of the country partook of the learning forum.

Representatives from the Research Development and Innovation Center of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU-RDIC) attended the three-day training. The first two days of the event zeroed-in on enlightening participants on the concepts of patent information and patent search, while the final day focused on a patent search contest to prod attendees to put the theories that they had learned beforehand into practice. The competition culminated in Darryl Hanna Dulay, an OLFU-RDIC Specialist of the Quezon City Campus, taking Third Place.
