The Sportsfest 2015 of the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) was officially opened last August 14, 2015 in Quezon City and Pampanga Campuses, August 15, 2015 in Valenzuela City Campus and August 20, 2015 in Antipolo City Campus. The Sportsfest 2015 is a project of the Office of the Student Affairs headed by Dr. Mylene S. Abad Santos, Vice President for Student Affairs in cooperation with the Physical Education Department.
The highlights of the opening ceremony were the parade and presentation of different college teams, lighting of torch, search for Mr. & Ms. Sportsfest and the ceremonial toss. Members of the Board of Trustees, College and Administrative Deans and students attended the opening ceremonies of the four campuses.
Just like the previous year’s competition, students from the different colleges from the four (4) OLFU campuses will be competing in the different event. There will be seven (7) sport events both for men and women that will be featured in this competition. These are Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess and Dance Sports.
Each campus will have its own competition/elimination and will come up with its top team for each sports event which will then compete in the Inter-campus competition beginning September 28 to October 6, 2015. The opening ceremony for the inter-campus competition will be held at the Quezon City Campus Athletic Center.
