Mr. Jesse Francis N. Rebustillo, President of People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), was nominated and elected as Chairman of the Academe-Industry Linkages and Pathways (AILP) of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) of the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU).

Jesse has extensive exposure in the field of Human Resource Management.

He earned his MBA degree at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (sans thesis) and BSBA Management course, magna cum laude, from the Aquinas University. He has a Diploma in Human Resource Development, Compensation Management, Labor Relations, and HR Planning and Acquisition from the Jose Rizal University.

He is a Management and Human Resource Consultant, Seminar Facilitator and Speaker as he conducts programs on values, leadership, emotional intelligence, work life balance, team building, career development, job hunting as well as sales and customer service.

Jesse was the Corporate Human Resources Head of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He has initiated several innovative HR practices in work-life balance, human resource development, competency-based performance management system and upgraded employee benefits. It was during his stint at the HR Department that Inquirer was recognized for its best practices by the Employer’s Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) Kapatiran – Industrial Relations Award in 2003 and a finalist in 2002 and 2003 Employer of the Year Award by the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). He is a veteran of four successful CBA negotiations at Inquirer.

He shifted career to become the Inquirer’s AVP for Classified Advertising and recently was promoted as AVP for Industrial Relations.

Despite his hectic schedule, Jesse devotes his time as a diligent Special Minister of the Holy Communion at Our Lady of Remedies Parish in Malate, Manila. He is a music lover who plays the piano; enjoys bonsai, gardening and baking, and to fill up some empty spaces in his appointment book, breeds forty two dogs and stands as father to two adopted boys.

He was the 2011 President of the Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSDT) and currently, President of the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP).
