Nothing short of phenomenal. That is the only way to describe the outcome of the May 2022 Nurse Licensure Exams. On 10 June 2022, the Professional Regulation Commission released their Topnotcher and Top Performing School Rankings, with Our Lady of Family University (OLFU) in the spotlight.

Two OLFU College of Nursing alumni took the Top 1 and Top 2 spots among the Top 10. Nora Jane B. Staveley from the Valenzuela Campus snagged Top 1 with her 90.00% test score, while Julia Flora Rosa M. Amarille of the Antipolo Campus followed closely with an 89.40% score cementing her place as the Top 2 in the country. Together, they bested a total of 9,726 other examinees.

And these wins get even sweeter because OLFU claimed two spots among the Top Performing Schools. With an average passing rate of 84.13%, OLFU Antipolo was the 7th best among all other schools, while an average passing rate of 82.19% made OLFU QC the 8th best in school performance. Notably, there were 496 schools nationwide that participated in the nursing board exam.

In summary, Nursing graduates from four OLFU Campuses (Valenzuela, Quezon City, Antipolo, and Cabanatuan) took this licensure exam and, together, registered an 80.67% average passing rate which is much higher than the national passing rate of 68.01%.

The University proudly presents its 551 newly licensed, fully-fledged Nurses.
