Dr. Raymond S. Macatangga, Dean of the College of Computer Studies (CCS) of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), was elected as a Board Member of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE)- National for 2020 to 2023 during the 22nd PSITE National Convention held at the Aziza Paradise Hotel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan last February 26 to 28, 2020.

Composed of academic institutions, Information Technology professionals, educators, and graduate students, PSITE is an organization whose goal is to “promote quality Information Technology education in the country” through its numerous programs, partnerships, and other endeavors, per the official PSITE-National Capital Region Chapter website. With over 100 institutional members and 900 individual members, PSITE has 14 chapters around the country.

Prior to this new appointment, Dr. Macatangga has been actively involved in PSITE’s National Capital Region Chapter as an officer. Some of the positions he held were External Vice President (2019-2020) and President (2018-2019).
