Among 101 Pharmacy schools in the Philippines, the College of Pharmacy (COP)– Valenzuela Campus of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) emerged as the 4th Top Performing School in the March 2018 Pharmacist Licensure Examination (PLE). The recognition was formalized in a ceremony organized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) with the Professional Regulatory Board of Pharmacy last April 22, 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, Metro Manila.

A total of 72 new registered pharmacists logged an 81.82% passing rate for OLFU Valenzuela. The said result is significantly higher than the overall national PLE passing rate of 55.77%.

Meanwhile, other OLFU Campuses also emerged victorious as they also garnered passing rates considerably higher than the national average: Pampanga Campus with 86.67% and Antipolo Campus with 83.72%,

In all, Fatima celebrates its 207 newly-licensed Pharmacists who come from all of the University’s five campuses. It is of note also, that out of the 3,039 exam-takers in the Philippines, only 1,695 successfully passed the challenging licensure exam.
