Baguio City – The College of Hospitality and Institutional Management of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU-CHIM) once again proves that it is the “Home of the Champions” as it bags three (3) golds, five (5) silvers, five (5) bronzes and three (3) diplomas in the recently concluded 10th National Food Showdown during the 13th Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism (HRT) Week hosted by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio (HRAB) last October 19-21 at the CAP Auditorium, Camp John Hay and at the Baguio Country Club.
Featuring more than 30 schools, colleges, universities and professional organizations from all over the country, OLFU-CHIM contenders demonstrated their skills in both student and professional categories in almost all of the contest segments.
The collaborative effort among the three OLFU campuses of Antipolo, Quezon City, and Valenzuela was a potent formula with OLFU-CHIM finishing the event with multiple distinctions. These achievements, and more, are part of the continuing efforts of the College in line with the University’s 50th Anniversary celebration next year.
