The College of Computer Studies (CCS) of Our Lady Fatima University (OLFU) Pampanga Campus emerged as an unstoppable force during the Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) last 20 October 2023 at the Sports and Cultural Center (SCC), Angeles University Foundation in Angeles City, Pampanga.
With the theme, “AI Nexus: Convergence of Technology and Human Ingenuity,” the Fatimanians delivered their best and were awarded as first runner-up following the RAITE 2023 E-Games – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Team Executives comprising Jester Tommy Inocelda, Bryan Angel Velasquez, John Aarol Peñaflor, Alriz David, Clark Cruz, and James Paolo Ocampo showed exceptional teamwork and strategy throughout the competition. The group was trained by Jorge MC Clane Lapid.
Meanwhile, two girls from CCS passed the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) – Cybersecurity Certification Examination with flying colors. With their dedication and perseverance, Francesca Noelle Santos and Patricia Andrea Ocampo both passed the ITS certification in cybersecurity. In addition, Santos was named second runner-up in the same challenge with a score of 806/1000. Both Santos and Ocampo were coached by Charity Mary Arevalo.
The Information Technology Security (ITS) Exam is a third-party certification test. –Raymond Lumagsao
