The Nueva Ecija Campus of Our Lady of Fatima University lauded April 2023 Criminology Licensure Examinations passer Billy Tumibay who was later recognized among the thirteen exemplary performers by the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP)-Region III.
Hailing from the College of Criminal Justice, Tumibay represented OLFU along with twelve awardees in the region who exhibited “the ability to navigate complex concepts, [to] think critically,” and to supply the “learning[s] in meaningful ways.”
Aside from his educational footprint, the Nueva Ecija pride is also already celebrated for his contributions in the community, a complementary input that makes the vision of education even more transformative.
“By balancing your academic pursuits with a commitment to personal and social development, you exemplify the well-rounded individuals we strive to cultivate within our educational community,” PCAP in honoring this year’s awardees in an online statement, 09 June 2023.
Simply put, OLFU in its guiding academic philosophy “improving man as a man” is honored to have the likes of Tumibay and the many more who espouse the legacy and principles of the institution.
Finally, the regional chapter expressed its confidence that Tumibay and the rest of the awardees will “continue to excel and make a positive difference in the world.”
PCAP is a professional federation of licensed criminologists of the Philippines recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
