Eager to explore possibilities in the United Kingdom, over 200 senior Medicine and Nursing students attended a “Work in the UK” seminar sponsored by Lin’s International Education Management Group of Companies Inc. (LIEMGCI) last 28 January 2019 at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the San Lorenzo Hall, Valenzuela Campus.
According to speaker Dr. Zubair Ahmad, founder and director of ABM Academy UK, there is a wealth of opportunities in the UK as its government is actively recruiting thousands of healthcare professionals. Also, the European country has relaxed its rules in issuing work visas.
However, applicants will still need to pass UK government-certified examinations before they can qualify for a position which could pay as much as 34,000 British Pounds (Php2.3 Million) annually.
