Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) congratulates Scout Wylls Ian T. Vallo for garnering awards in the 5th International Patrol Jamboree that happened in Mt. Seorak, Gangwon Province, Korea. The grade 10 student from the OLFU Quezon City Campus – Basic Education Department (BED) traveled to Korea last August 2-7, 2018 to join the multinational camp.

The 5th International Patrol Jamboree was a youth event where the Korea Scout Association (KSA) invited seven different National Scout Organisations (NSO) from all over the globe for a week-long camp; filled with adventurous, fun, and engaging activities. Scout Vallo, being one of the participants, immersed himself in the exercises and camped among foreign scouts thereby, experiencing a very enriching cultural exchange.

Partaking in the various outdoor games and activities, Scout Vallo earned a string of awards:: six Korean Pins, three Messenger of Peace Ribbons, two BSA Medallions, two BSA Tokens, two Korean Medallions,  one Korean Gold Pin, one Korean Blue Medallion, one Saudi Arabian Medallion, one 2016 Korean Medallion, one Scout of the World Award Ribbon, one World Scout Environment Program Ribbon, one Go Grow Green Ribbon and one 5th International Patrol Jamboree Patch.
