The Quezon City Campus of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) recently received International Exchange Program students from South Korea’s Hanbat National University. Heading the reception, Campus Administrator, Dr. Ramonita A. Salazar, warmly welcomed the Korean students; expressing OLFU’s joy and excitement, as well as vowing to give the students the best experience that can be had out of an exchange student program.

On the other hand, Taejong Lee, coordinator of OLFU’s Korean Student Program, remarked that the Korean learners are very much anticipating the activities and learning experiences in store for them. Mr. Lee assured the Korean students of an enriching experience as they will be learning more about the practices of OLFU and Filipino culture. Similarly, Co-Curricular Affairs Coordinator Michael Yosa conveyed that OLFU always makes it a point to make the experience significant and memorable for exchange students.

Lee Min Hyeok of Hanbat National University thanked the school administrators for the warm welcome; expressing that he is equally excited about the engagements that lie ahead.

OLFU’s QC Campus has a complete itinerary planned out for the exchange program. The Korean students will be visiting an adopted community of OLFU where they will be rendering community work. They will also be exposed to the Filipino and English language, such as polite expressions and other basic words and phrases that would help them better assimilate Filipino culture, traditions and way of life.

Program Heads and Subject Coordinators from different colleges of OLFU, as well as student leaders of various OLFU student organizations, strengthened OLFU’s show of support through their presence at the welcome event.
