The Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), through its College of Arts and Sciences’ English Department recently held activities in observance of English Week.

At the Quezon City Campus, the English Department partnered with the student organization, the English Society, in hosting a Debate & One-Act Play Seminar/ Workshop. This took place last 27 August 2016 at the campus’ San Jose Building Auditorium. There were 250 participants, largely comprised of English course students from OLFU’s Quezon City, Antipolo and Pampanga campuses.

The whole-day event featured resource speakers. Rachel Anne Torreon, faculty member of St. Theresa’s College, tackled “The Proceedings of Asian Parliamentary”. On the other hand, Kiki Baento discussed “The Rudiments of a One-Act Play”.

The enriching session was made possible through the English Department Coordinator, Consolacion P. Zabala, Ed.D., and the English Society Advisor, Crisanto A. Daing, MAED.
