During the Annual Conference and Assembly Meeting of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) last April 13-16, 2021, the College of Business and Accountancy of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU-CBA) was formally awarded as Candidacy Recipient.  Five other educational institutions received the same sought-after recognition, namely: Shaanxi Master of Business Institute (China), Siena Heights University (Michigan, USA), Southwest Minnesota State University (USA), Southwest University at El Paso (Texas, USA), and Valley City State University (North Dakota, USA).

IACBE’s actual Candidacy site visit of OLFU happened back in January 2020, right at the cusp of the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic.  OLFU-CBA received the great news of its Candidacy Status in July of the same year and, then, received formal confirmation through the IACBE ceremony in April 2021.

International membership affiliation with IACBE began in February 2019, guaranteeing that OLFU’s Business Administration programs with majors in Banking, Marketing Management, and Operations & Supply Chain Management are aligned to internationalized, high-quality standards of education.

OLFU CBA is under the care of its college dean, Dr. Ignacio Cordova, Jr.  The University celebrates this achievement with him and the solid core of educators in the CBA.
