Mid-November 2016 holds a special place in the academic calendar of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU). It was when faculty, staff and administrators gathered to acknowledge the Senior High School (SHS) students for their academic achievements earned during the first semester.
Across all of OLFU’s five campuses, the day was the culmination of all the hard work as the SHS Department and the Center for Guidance Services staged its 1st Senior High School Recognition Day.
The campuses of Valenzuela, Antipolo, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija simultaneously held their respective events on 15 November 2016; while the Quezon City campus held theirs on the 17th day of the same month.
The SHS Campus Administrator, Dean Ernesto R. Leuterio, Jr. and the Strand Coordinators, Juliet Dillena, Arsenia Gallardo and Dr. Benjamin Dillena, together with Assistant Administrator Mr. Rafael Vicente S. Enriquez, and other OLFU SHS officials were present to hand over Subject Excellence Awards to student-achievers. In total, there were close to a thousand achievers.
It was a day of happiness and pride. The recognition was also proof that perseverance coupled with “heart” can put one on an early track to success.
