Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) Valenzuela’s Lance B. Francisco is now one step ahead in fulfilling his dreams as he ranked Top 2 in the September 2018 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Exam

He became the second highest scorer in a total of 740 passers with a rating of 89.50%.

“Just follow what your heart desires and if you really give your all for it, indeed, you will reap the fruit of your labor,” he shared. Francisco strongly believes that diligence does not disappoint; it pays off. He also said that an important key to success is doing everything for the Lord

In his shining moment, the topnotcher did not forget to look back to his college journey, whose trials taught him important lessons in life, and to the people who have been with him throughout.

“Those hardships really strengthened me through these years and I’m grateful. I’m truly thankful to those people behind this milestone. Words are not enough to give thanks to them,” he said.

Francisco has always wanted to serve his fellowmen, especially those who are disadvantaged, and is optimistic that he’ll be able to do so as much as he can with God’s guidance. In fact, his favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Aspiring to become a medical doctor someday, he knows that there will still be challenges as he embarks on this new chapter. Nonetheless, he said that he will carry on with his positive attitude, excited for what’s next.

Indeed, the future looks bright for OLFU’s Francisco and 76 Respiratory Therapy board passers. Congratulations and continue rising to the top!
