The Center for Professional Development and Academic Partnership (CPDAP) of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) once again presented its fresh harvest of the fortified internationalization efforts resulting in the actual growth of Fatimanians through its ceaseless student exchange program.

As the cerebrum of the institutional partnerships and linkages for OLFU, CPDAP proudly shared in a series of online posts the latest names to take on a transformative student exchange experience in the global cultural powerhouse that is South Korea.

On 22 September 2023, Fatimanians at Mokpo National Maritime University (MMU) including Michael Jimmuel Galang, Mark Lee Montalbo, Belt Malacaste and Anngie Villafania were tasked to represent OLFU as the welcoming committee for fellow Filipinos who have recently embarked on the same program at the respected maritime institution.

Per CPDAP, the future maritime professionals “have been residing at MMU since July 2023” and will conclude their internship term until December 2023.

“As part of their program, they are engaged in various activities at MMU, including actual sailing, port watch duties, tours at respected [maritime] companies in South Korea like Hyundai, among others,” said the CPDAP in an online statement on 25 September 2023.

Citing the “continued enthusiasm for internationalization,” the same OLFU key office boasted yet another batch of future mental health professionals where three students hailing from Psychology Department of OLFU Antipolo Campus officially kicked off their student exchange at Hanbat National University in the same Hallyu capital.

Third year Psychology students namely Alessandra Alize Santos, Ma. Angelica Abaya and Shailla Beatrice Aran comprise the fresh Fatimanians who reaffirm the solidified alliance between Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) and Hanbat National University, the headline research institute of Daejon.

According to CPDAP, the Fatimanians arrived at Hanbat on 23 September 2023 and will complete their program on 22 December 2023.
