The College of Criminal Justice of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) celebrated its 6th Criminology Week last September 7, 2014. Highlight of the celebration was a fun-run dubbed as “Fun-Takbuhan Para sa Kapayapaan”. The fun run started from Galeria Building in Maysan to the Dambana Covered Court in Marulas via MacArthur Highway, Valenzuela City and participated in by faculty members, administrative staffs and about 400 Criminology students.

A thanksgiving mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Lito Caliuag, University Chaplain was held after the fun-run followed by an opening program and torch lighting that signaled the start of the basketball competition of teams coming from the Quezon City, Pampanga and Valenzuela Campuses.

Other activities undertaken during the week include the First Aid Competition, Assembling and Disassembling Firearms, Crime Scene Processing, TATA-LINO (Quiz Bee), Batang Henyo, Spot Poster-making Contest, Amazing Takbuhan, Big Boy/Girl Kainan, Tug-of-War, Rampahan to the Max, Booth Shows, and a boodle-fight for all. Seminars and the “CRIM Night” were also held during the week-long celebration.

This year’s celebration is considered a success because of the active involvement from the planning stage to implementation of the officers and members of the different student’s organizations like YLEO, WCO, the Riders and the OLFU Karate-do Clubs.
