Dr. Raymond S. Macatangga, Dean of the College of Computer Studies was elected as the new Vice President for Faculty Development of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators – National Capital Region Chapter (PSITE-NCR). The election of officers was held during its monthly seminar/workshop and recognition event last March 15, 2013 at the Techportal Building, UP Ayala TechnoHub in Quezon City.
During its recognition ceremony, Dr. Macatangga together with other PSITE-NCR Board members received a Certificate of Recognition as Outstanding ITE Leader for A.Y. 2012 – 2013. He was also recognized for his Outstanding Performance as PSITE-NCR Zonal Director for CAMANAVA.
The event was attended by the different school administrators, deans, program chairs, faculty members and industry partners of PSITE-NCR. Aside from Dr. Macatangga, faculty members of Our Lady of Fatima University of Valenzuela City and Quezon City campuses also attended the event namely Mr. Lersan B. Del Mundo, Ms. Mary Grace N. Gonzales, Engr. Mary Regina B. Apsay and Mr. Florocito S. Camata.
