Fortifying its pursuit of developing a pool of well-versed researchers, the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) Graduate School held the 11th Annual Graduate School Faculty-Student Research Forum last 16 February 2020 at the OLFU RISE Tower, Valenzuela Campus.

Gracing the conference was the Director for Documentation, Information, and Technology Transfer Bureau of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), Atty. Mary Grace Cruz-Yap, who discussed knowledge translation and intellectual property in graduate education.

In the event, faculty members Christian Jay Orte, PhDN; and Adrian Bon B. Santiago, DPA, presented their research paper about “Eliciting e-Leadership Style and Trait Preferences among Nurses via Conjoint Analysis”, and “Praxis of Organizational Development in the National Government Agencies: Towards a Proposed Innovative Model”, respectively.

Graduate School alumni were also invited to present their research works related to this year’s conference theme: “Translation Research and Ethics in Graduate Education: Opportunities and Challenges”. The presentations were divided into two clusters: Cluster I tackled topics about Education, Business, Public Administration, Hospitality and Travel Management, Information Technology, and Criminal Justice; on the other hand, Cluster II discussed researches about Nursing and Allied Health programs.

Bringing pride to the University, faculty and students who presented and published research papers in external conferences were awarded by Research Development and Innovation Center (RDIC) Director, Dr. Michael Joseph Diño, during the gathering as well.
