About

   

     OLFU, together with Fatima University Medical Center (FUMC), opens an opportunity for well-performing but financially-challenged students to attain their baccalaureate degrees.
     This program-open to qualified students taking up any allied health-related programs at OLFU-gives financial sponsorship on tuition fees and miscellaneous fees during the recipient’s last semester before completing their program. In exchange and to help students secure employment, the students will fulfill a return service at OLFU or FUMC. The years of service correspond to the total amount sponsored by OLFU/FUMC.

Scope 

       The OLFU-FUMC Educational Sponsorship Program with Return Service Agreement (OFESP-RSA) is given to any allied health related- program (Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Radiologic Technology) qualified student who is confirmed to graduate within the current semester.

Guidelines

1. OLFU/FUMC reserves the right to qualify each recipient. Submission of requirements does not automatically mean that each applicant is a grantee.

2. Recipients must understand and agree to the Sponsorship with Return Service Program’s terms and conditions.

3. The length of return service will depend on the total amount sponsored by OLFU FUMC.

How to Apply:

1. Interested Graduating Students enrolled in the 2nd Semester of the current school year may apply for this sponsorship program by reaching out to their College Dean.

2. An application form duly signed by the student and parent/guardian must be submitted.

3. The College Dean will conduct an initial interview, which will include a comprehensive outline of the program and the expectations from the applicant.

4. The following are the requirements for applying:

  • Essay on why they should be accepted to the program

5. After the application gets processed and approved, a signing of the Return Service Agreement with the concerned approved applicant will be conducted.

Payment Plans

We know that facing a large lump sum payment can be financially intimidating that’s why OLFU offers Payment Plans that allow students to make several smaller payments on an agreed upon schedule until they have paid off the full amount of OLFU’s tuition fees.
