The College of Physical Therapy (CPT) is further cementing an impressive reputation for Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) through stellar performance in the state licensure examinations. A CPT alumnus from the Valenzuela Campus secured the Top 8th position in the December 2023 Physical Therapists Licensure Examination.

Following the ranks of OLFU topnotchers through the years, Frances Darlene Santiago is ending the year on a strong note after logging 88.35 percent and landing in the list of top-performing examinees.

As of December 2023, Santiago is the 56th topnotcher to emerge from the College of Physical Therapy since its establishment in 1989.

On the other hand, for the second consecutive year, OLFU Pampanga consistently notched a 100 percent passing rate, while OLFU Valenzuela earned an outstanding 96.43 percent rating for all its first-time examinees — both campuses notably ahead of the 76.35 percent national passing rate for the said takers.

Out of 1,884 examiners nationwide, a total of 1,288 successfully secured their licenses based on the report released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on 5 December 2023.

Equally, OLFU proudly welcomes its 65 newly minted physical therapists hailing from the campuses of Valenzuela, Pampanga, Quezon City, and Antipolo. – Raymond Lumagsao
