Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) – Valenzuela City Campus is the top performing school in the May 2025 Licensure Examination for Dentists, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced on Wednesday, June 11.

With an exceptional 91.67 percent overall passing rate, OLFU’s College of Dentistry outperformed 30 other dental schools nationwide. Even more remarkable is the College’s 97.44 percent passing rate among first-time takers, a testament to the University’s robust curriculum and uncompromising commitment to academic rigor.

Further elevating its achievement, OLFU proudly celebrates the success of its two newest board topnotchers. Maynald Ricci Mojar Macatangay secured the 5th spot with a rating of 85.37 percent, while Rowie Roze Paulino Marquez earned the 7th place with a score of 84.80 percent. Their exemplary performance reflects the topnotch academic preparation and comprehensive clinical training provided by OLFU.

According to the PRC, a total of 764 examinees passed out of 969 candidates who took the licensure examination across the country, delivering a national passing rate of 78.84 percent. Of this number, OLFU contributes 55 newly licensed dentists, each poised to enter the profession with competence, integrity, and a deep sense of service.

OLFU has once again affirmed its prestigious standing as the Home of the Topnotchers, as it continues to cultivate future healthcare professionals equipped to serve and lead in their respective fields.

The entire OLFU community, led by its academic leadership and faculty, beams with pride over this latest milestone, which underscores the University’s steadfast dedication to academic excellence and nation-building.
