The College of Education of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) has once again demonstrated academic excellence as it posted outstanding results in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), significantly surpassing national passing rates across both the Elementary and Secondary levels.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), OLFU achieved an overall passing rate of 83.87 percent well above the national average. The University’s campuses—Valenzuela City, Quezon City, Antipolo City, and Pampanga—showcased exceptional individual performances, especially in the categories of first-time takers.
Elementary Level: OLFU scores 82.50% overall, beats national average by over 35 Points
For the Elementary level, OLFU recorded a combined passing rate of 82.50 percent, outshining the national passing rate of 46.79 percent by an impressive margin of 35.71 percentage points.
Leading the cohort, OLFU’s Antipolo City Campus posted an outstanding passing rate of 90.91 percent, followed closely by the Quezon City Campus with 85.71 percent, while the Valenzuela City Campus recorded a respectable 73.33 percent.
In the category of first-time takers, OLFU’s performance was even more remarkable. The University achieved an average passing rate of 88.24 percent surpassing the national first-time taker average of 76.11 percent. Antipolo City and Quezon City Campuses stood out with 100 percent and 92.31 percent passing rates respectively.
Secondary Level: OLFU posts 84.35% overall, outpaces national rate by over 22 Points
The University’s performance in the Secondary level was similarly impressive, registering an overall passing rate of 84.35 percent, markedly higher than the national passing rate of 62.31 percent.
Antipolo City Campus led with 94.44 percent, followed by Valenzuela City at 91.30 percent, Quezon City at 87.23 percent, and Pampanga with 66.67 percent—each above the national average.
Among first-time Secondary level takers, OLFU’s combined passing rate surged to an exemplary 96.47 percent, outperforming the national average of 82.49 percent. Antipolo City, Quezon City, and Valenzuela City Campuses all attained 100 percent passing rates.
