Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) Pampanga Campus celebrated a triumphant showing at the 10th Central Luzon Health Research Forum, garnering multiple accolades in various research categories thereby further solidifying its commitment to academic excellence and research innovation in health sciences.

Held on May 8–9, 2025 at the Best Western Plus Metro Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga, OLFU Pampanga’s College of Pharmacy displayed creativity and scientific rigor— clinching the People’s Choice Award for the Digital Poster Research Presentation under the Professional Category. The recognition reflects the team’s ability to effectively engage audiences while presenting relevant and innovative research.

Adding to the Campus’s accomplishments, Kianne Ross Laurin, along with her team from the College of Medical Laboratory Science, secured 2nd Place in the Oral Research Presentation under the Undergraduate Category. Their presentation demonstrated the depth of undergraduate research training and the potential of young scholars in contributing to the region’s health discourse.

The College of Pharmacy continued its winning streak as Peter Andrew Manabat and his team earned 3rd Place in the Digital Poster Research Presentation (Professional Category), highlighting the College’s consistent performance and research impact.

These achievements were made possible through the unwavering support and guidance of the Research Development and Innovation Center, led by Dr. Michael Joseph Diño and Dr. Adrian Bon Santiago, with the expert assistance of Research Specialists Mayelle Magat and Christian Edward Celis.

The University also extends heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated faculty mentors who played a critical role in shaping the research journeys of the student participants: Jill Cuevas, Judy Anne Libu, and Sheila Mai Rocabo from the College of Medical Laboratory Science; Mariel Esguerra and Cristal Pedong from the College of Pharmacy; and Justin Ramos, Miracle Gotiangco, and Mia Enriquez from the College of Physical Therapy.
