Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), through its Center for Professional Development and Academic Partnership (CPDAP), has officially announced the call for applications for the Hanbat Exchange Program for the Fall Semester of 2025.
This international academic initiative offers qualified OLFU students a unique opportunity to study at Hanbat National University in South Korea from August to December 2025. The program aims to expand students’ global academic perspectives while fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

OLFU students who are currently in their second year or higher and who have completed at least one year of residency at the University are eligible to apply. To begin the application process, interested students must complete an application form, secure the signature of their respective dean on SEPO Form 2, and fill out the Statement of Consent to Participate. These documents, along with a photocopy of the student’s passport biopage and a copy of the OLFU registration or enrollment card, must be submitted through an official Google Form portal. All application requirements must be fulfilled by the deadline on 31 May 2025.

In addition to the aforementioned materials, Hanbat National University requires a photocopy of the student’s passport biopage and OLFU registration card, as well as an official academic transcript from the Registrar’s Office and a clear photocopy of the PSA birth certificate. These latter two documents may be submitted at a later date.

Students accepted into the exchange program will be accommodated in on-campus dormitories. The cost for one semester is KRW 1,550,000, which covers a shared double room and three meals per day. A discount of up to 50 percent is available to participants who engage with the Hanbat’s English Leaders Club or the Buddy Program. As part of the program’s requirements, all participants must also purchase insurance at a cost of KRW 45,000 per month, subject to change.

CPDAP encourages all eligible students to seize this academic opportunity and experience life and learning in South Korea this Fall. Those who wish to learn more about the program or need assistance with their application may contact the CPDAP office via email at cpdap@fatima.edu.ph, by phone at +632-8291-6538 local 168, or in person at the 2nd Floor of the Graduate School Building located at 120 MacArthur Highway, Valenzuela.
With this program, OLFU reaffirms its resolute intention to producing globally competent graduates and to nurturing partnerships that provide students with meaningful international exposure.
