On 18 July 2022 during the 8th Research Forum hosted by the College of Pharmacy of Adamson University, five students from the College of Pharmacy of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) were recognized for having the Best Poster Presentation for Pharmacy Practice.
OLFU’s winning, future Pharmacists are Luke Timothy Baldomero, Czarinah Allaine Buenviaje, Jihn Gee D.C. Fajardo, Joshua Villanueva, and Elleree Virtucio. The said students were expertly guided by their advisers, Mary Leoncio and Venchy Quizana.
Espousing the event theme “Evidence-Based Research: Challenges and Future Directions”, OLFU’s representatives faced tough competition from top universities across the country; where their poster presentation on “Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices on the Use of Herbal Supplements for Protection Against COVID-19 Infection” outdid other admirable entries.
