Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) Pampanga Campus celebrated its achievements and victories with a motorcade last March 13, 2015. The motorcade that went around the streets of San Fernando City was led by Dean Muriel Caballero, Campus Administrator, Program Heads and Coordinators. Students from the different organizations and colleges, faculty members and office personnel were in full force.
After which, a short program was held at the campus covered court. During her opening remarks, Dean Caballero said that “OLFU Pampanga Campus is like a galaxy of stars shining in the Milky Way”. In addition, she enumerated in her speech the various victories and accomplishments of Pampanga Campus as follows:
- Won the four major awards in the Mr. and Ms. OLFU 2015
Ms. Angelene David (BS Accountancy) – Ms. OLFU 2015
Mr. Joshua Nathaniel de Jesus (BS Business Administration)– Mr. OLFU 2015
Ms. Eloisa Canlas (BS Pharmacy) – Female First Runner-up
Ms. Kristelle Lois Baluyut(BS Business Administration)
– Female Second Runner-up
- Winners of Mr. and Ms. OLFU 2015 minor awards such as Best in Talent (Female Category), Best in Casual Wear (Female Category), Best in Formal Wear, (Male and Female Category), among others.
- Government recognition for the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science was released last March 19, 2015.
- The Basic Education Department (BED) is Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE)-accredited and now recognized by the Department of Education as Our Lady of Fatima University-Pampanga Campus formerly East Central Colleges. The government recognition is set to be released.
- The transfer of BED from the old site at B. Mendoza St. to the OLFU Pampanga Campus beginning SY 2015-2016.
- The third building named Blessed Francisco Building will open on June, 2015. This is where the new Pharmaceutical Science Laboratory, Physical Science Laboratory and Instrumentation Room will be located.
- The ongoing construction of the following:
– Civil Engineering Building
– Additional laboratories of Medical Technology Laboratories
– Audio-Visual Room/Case Study Room
– Speech Laboratory/Computer Laboratory
– Additional Psychology Laboratories
– Cold Kitchen
– Suite Hotel Room
– Library (Annex)
– Covered Walkway
