The College of Computer Studies research entry entitled “Tour Pinoy Recognition” was accepted in the 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Information Processing (ICIIP 2014) at the Nanyang Technological University from May 24-26, 2014 at Singapore.  The research team was composed of Computer Science students from the Valenzuela campus namely Ms. Clarence C. Robas, James Michael A. Adoremus, Kimberly S. Morales, Joanna C. Unida and their research adviser Dr. Raymond S. Macatangga.

The conference received over 105 paper submissions and only 33 excellent papers were accepted and published. The research team of the College of Computer Studies, Our Lady of Fatima University Valenzuela Campus is one of them. They are also the sole Philippine representative of the country.

Dr. Macatangga presented the research paper in behalf of the team and was accompanied by Mr.Adoremus a Senior Computer Science student. Aside from presenting the research paper, Dr. Macatangga was invited to be part of the Technical Committee member and paper reviewer of ICIIP.

The Tour Pinoy Recognition research was recently published in the International Journal of Signal Processing Systems Volume 2, no. 1 last June 2014
