AFGHANISTAN

KABUL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2010)

A government university which provides advance, comprehensive, timely and free medical education.  It sought the help of OLFU on how to start their own nursing curriculum.  This University is currently offering four (4) programs namely Curative, Pediatrics, Stomatology and the newly established Nursing program.

DAFFODIL INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Daffodil International University and OLFU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that promotes academic exchanges for students and internships, faculty and staff, joint research projects and activities, academic symposia and conferences, short course training programs as well as develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty and staff, and institutions.

CANADA

ROYAL CANADIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

(ESTABLISHED 2010)

Royal Canadian Institute of Technology paved an opening for OLFU to partner with the Institute.  This institute encouraged OLFU to have an exchange of students and technology.

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

UNIVERSITI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

The Memorandum of Agreement intends to establish a basis of cooperation and collaboration as well as working relationship in the fields of research, education, in training programs of mutual interest and joint cultural programs of both parties.  It will also serve as a general framework for the establishment of an academic link and cooperation between the two universities.

The MOA also states that both parties will facilitate a detailed discussion for more specific programs of collaboration and advancement of international understanding.

HUMAN RESOURCES UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2010)

The agreement between Human Resources University (HRU) and OLFU states that both Universities will cooperatively promote and improve the educational experiences of their students in the field of Business Administration, English Language, Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Economics.

BUILD BRIGHT UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Build Bright University and OLFU agreed to help both universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, consultation on curriculum, and sharing of best practices.

CHINA

BEIJING DONGFANG UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2010)

This University sought the help of OLFU in drafting their Nursing curriculum that will enable their students to study one year in China and finish their education in OLFU.

MU DAN JIANG MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2009)

This University in Northeast China offers medical and allied medical courses to more than 8,000 students.  Their alliance with OLFU provides inroads to the exchange of ideas and skills as faculty from both Universities will serve as their guest lecturers and speakers.  This exchange of faculty and lecturers will not only benefit the students and faculty but more importantly, will consequently result in the advancement of course programs and research projects as both universities set a high value on research and program development. The agreement also gives students of Mu Dan Jiang the opportunity to study for three years in OLFU to accomplish their graduate studies in Clinical Medicine.  Graduates from other courses such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Applied Psychology, Preventive Medicine and Public Management can study at OLFU for four years.  Students of Dentistry, on the other hand, can stay for two years to get their degree.

SHIJIANZHUANG CENTER HOSPITAL

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2009)

The Shijianzhuang Center Hospital, formerly known as Shijianzhuang Railway Center Hospital, partnership with OLFU provides opportunity to their nurses to take their graduate program in Nursing at OLFU Graduate School.

ZHEJIANG MEDICAL COLLEGE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2008)

OLFU and Zhejiang Medical College signed an Educational Exchange Cooperation in the field of Nursing, Medicine, and Public Health Management.  The exchange involved the visiting of professors and other administrative staff from both parties.

DALIAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2008)

Dalian Medical University (DMU) is a multi-disciplinary medical university which offers medicine, nursing and also other programs such as arts, science, management and law.  DMU and OLFU entered into an accord for medical and nursing students of DMU to be able to study for two years in DMU and another two years in OLFU.  Medical students would have their option to take their clerkship program either in DMU or in OLFU.

SHANDONG XIEHE UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2013)

Shandong Xiehe University and OLFU entered into an affiliation to jointly promote educational and academic cooperation programs of both Universities through encouraging their teachers to conduct academic exchanges and cooperation programs; inviting teachers and students to engage in academic visits, lectures and learning activities; and participate in academic seminars and other related professional conferences.

BAIQIUEN MEDICAL SCIENCE INSTITUTE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2008)

The partnership between BaiQiuen Science Institute and OLFU aims to promote the academic exchange in international health education by taking each advantage of the education recourses both in China and the Philippines, and to foster professional nursing expertise with an international standard, in order to work in developed countries and compete in the international nursing labor market.

HEBEI NORMAL UNIVERSITY

AFFILIATED HIGH SCHOOL

The purpose of the charter between Hebei Normal University Affiliated High School and OLFU is to promote better standards of education in China and the Philippines and to support the convergence of higher education from these two countries; to refer and introduce Philippine and/or American educational philosophy, teaching methods, and materials through various inter-school exchanges; to combine China’s national conditions and the advantages of the Philippines’ higher education; to foster efficient and high quality scientific integrations, fluency in the use of the English language, expertise with international standards, information structure; to enhance rationale; to develop international relationships; to train personnel of various professions and; to further promote mutual understanding of culture and education in the field.

QIQIHAR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2008)

An International Cooperation Agreement was entered into by Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) and Qiqihar Medical University (QMC) for advanced studies for graduates, faculty and students exchange program.  The agreement was expanded to include a student exchange program for undergraduates of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

BETHUNE MEDICAL COLLEGE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2007)

Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) and Bethune Medical College entered into a collaboration agreement wherein students of Bethune Medical College can study for three years and one-and-a-half years at OLFU.

BEIJING ORIENTAL UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL NURSING SCHOOL

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2010)

Beijing Oriental University International Nursing School and Our Lady of Fatima University College of Nursing agreed for a collaboration agreement to train nurses who have international perspective and excellent English and who have the capacity to engage in Nursing.  The agreement also aims to improve the communication between the Chinese and the Philippine Education and Healthcare business.  Introduce the Philippines’ advanced educational concepts, teaching methods, and teaching materials and integrate the domestic and international high quality educations resources to cultivate high quality nursing.

HAI YUAN COLLEGE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Hai Yuan College and OLFU, the two universities agreed to foster academic exchanges.  This partnership aims to both universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, programs, activities, students and faculty.

KUNMING MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

A partnership was forged between Kunming Medical University and OLFU.  The agreement includes a bilateral consultation program and a student and faculty exchange program.

HONGKONG UNIVERSITY

The agreement between Hongkong University and OLFU aims to help both Universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, consultation on curriculum, and sharing of best practices.

VIT UNIVERSITY

VIT UNIVERSITY VELLORE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

OLFU enters into a new partnership with Vit University and Vit University Vellore through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that promotes academic exchanges for students and internships, faculty and staff, joint research projects and activities, academic symposia and conferences, short course training programs and transfer of medical technology as well as develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty and staff, and institutions.

UNIVERSITAS SANATA DHARMA

(PARTNERSHIPS ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both Universitas Sanata Dharma and OLFU focuses on the promotion of exchange programs based on their respective academic and educational needs for their faculty, staff, students, research programs, conferences and other academic exchanges agreeable to both parties.

HASANUDDIN UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIPS ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Hasanuddin University and OLFU both agreed to promote academic exchanges for students and internships, faculty and staff, joint research projects and activities, academic symposia and conferences, short course training programs as well as develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty and staff, and institutions.

UNIVERSITAS UBUDIYAH INDONESIA

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia and OLFU, the two universities agreed to foster academic exchanges.  This partnership aims to both universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, programs, activities, students and faculty.

(PARTNERSHIPS ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Universitas Widyatama and OLFU agreed to forge into a new partnership that will foster an academic exchange and cooperation.  This includes any program offered by either institution that contributes to the promotion and development of the cooperative relationship between the two universities.

UNIVERSITY OF SURUBAYA

(PARTNERSHIPS ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

University of Surabaya and OLFU both agreed to promote academic exchanges for students and internships, faculty and staff, joint research projects and activities, academic symposia and conferences, short course training programs and transfer of medical technology as well as develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty and staff, and institutions.

ALZHARA UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Alzhara University and OLFU both agreed to encourage the development of the following exchange programs based on their respective academic and education needs: Exchange of faculty; Exchange of students (undergraduate and/or graduates); Exchange of academic information and materials; Joint research programs; joint conferences and other academic exchange agreeable to both universities.

UNIVESITY OF ISFAHAN

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

University of Isfahan and OLFU entered into a partnership to recognize the importance of academic research centers for achieving engagement of academic members and researchers in the domain of science and technology and in order to expand the academic relationships of both parties. UNIVERSITY OF TEHRAN

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

OLFU entered into a partnership with University of Tehran in order to develop both parties’ exchange programs based on their respective academic needs to include faculty; students (undergraduate and/or graduates), academic information and materials, joint research programs, joint conference and other academic exchange agreeable to both universities.

IRELAND

ATHLONE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Athlone Institute of Technology and OLFU agreed to promote academic exchanges and develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty, staff and institutions.

ISRAEL

GALILEE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Galilee International Management Institute and OLFU agreed to promote academic exchanges to enhance their collaborative projects and activities to include students/internships, faculty/staff, joint research projects/activities, joint academic symposium/conference and short course training programs.

JAPAN

KANAGAWA DENTAL COLLEGE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2007)

A sisterhood agreement was finalized between the Kanagawa Dental College and OLFU.  The agreement includes a bilateral consultation program and a student and faculty exchange program.

KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

MINISTRY OF HEALTH

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2010)

The Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) and Ministry of Health forged a partnership wherein OLFU will be able to conduct the required training for nurses seeking employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

MALAYSIA

OPEN UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA (OUM)

In August 1999, the Minister of Education invited Multimedia Technology Enhancement Operations Sdn. Bhd. (METEOR), a consortium of 11 public universities in the country, to set up an open university. The move led to the establishment of Open University Malaysia (OUM) in August 2000 followed by its official launch on 26 Aug ust 2002 by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. Adopting the motto ‘University for all’, OUM believes in the democratisation of education; giving everyone a chance at self-actualisation and fulfilling their potential.

The agreement between Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and OLFU aims to help both Universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, consultation on curriculum, and sharing of best practices.

The agreement between Universiti Malaysia Perlis and OLFU aims to help both Universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, consultation on curriculum, and sharing of best practices.

NEPAL

SILVER PEAK CONSULTANCY SERVICES

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2011)

Silver Peak Consultancy Services, an educational consultancy duly registered in Nepal, India and the Philippines entered into a Contract of Agreement on MBA Program Offering with Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU).  Both parties agree to establish the academic and business relationships and responsibilities for a conduct of the Master in Business Administration graduate program of OLFU at the Pathe Academy in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  The agreement promotes international understanding and cooperation among them and to serve the students of Sri Lanka in a manner that is beneficial to all.

SOUTH KOREA

UNIVERSITY OF SUWON

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2013)

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding between University of Suwon (USW) and OLFU, the two universities agreed to establish a Student Exchange and Language Program (English or Korean) wherein five students per   university per academic year will be given slots to participate in the program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

WOOSONG UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2013)

Woosong University and OLFU agreed to foster an Academic Exchange and Cooperation.  This includes any program offered by either institution that contributes to the promotion and development of the cooperative relationship between the two universities.

Activities that can be carried out are:

  • Exchange of faculty and/or staff;
  • Exchange of graduate and/or undergraduate students;
  • Joint academic and research activities;
  • Exchange of scientific materials, publications and information;
  • Exchange of cultural activities;
  • Joint conferences and academic programs

GUMI UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2013)

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding between Gumi University (GU) and OLFU, the two universities agreed to establish a Student Exchange and Language Program (English or Korean) wherein five bonafide students per university per academic year will be given slots to participate in the program with tuition fee waived by the host institution.  GU and OLFU students can participate in an English Language and Korean Language Programs, respectively, every vacation (summer and/or winter).

SUSEONG COLLEGE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2013)

Suseong College entered into a Partnership Agreement with Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) for a collaborative education agreement and exchange information based on the following: Mutual Fertilization for Education Agreement; Mutual Cooperation for Academic Exchange of Professors and Students; Running Language Training and Global Placement Program; and Collaboration for Transfer of Students.

HANBAT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Hanbat National University and OLFU both agreed to enter into a Mutual Understanding to cooperate in the undergraduate and post-graduate areas, exchange of students, exchange of faculty members/professors, exchange of scientific materials, publications and information and joint research or collaborative scientific research.

DONG-EUI UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2013)

Dong-Eui University (DEU) and  OLFU, the two universities agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the OLFU-DEU exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

PUKYONG UNIVERSITY

Pukyong National University (PKNU) and OLFU agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the OLFU-PKNU exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

GACHON UNIVERSITY

Gachon University (PKNU) and OLFU agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

SUWON UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Suwon University and OLFU agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

Woosong University and OLFU agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

DONG-A UNIVERSITY

Dong-A University and OLFU agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

CHUNNAM TECHNO UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Chunnam Techno University and  OLFU, the two universities agreed to establish a Student Exchange Program wherein each institution will be allotted five (5) students per academic year to participate in the exchange program with the tuition fee waived by the host institution.

DONGSEO UNIVERSITY

The agreement between Dongseo University and OLFU aims to help both Universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, consultation on curriculum, and sharing of best practices.

TAIWAN

NATIONAL YANG-MING UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY

(ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between National Yang-Ming Uiversity School of Dentistry OLFU, the two universities agreed to foster a student exchange program.  This includes any program offered by either institution that contributes to the promotion and development of the relationship between the two universities.

I-SHOU UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

I-Shou University and OLFU agreed to promote academic exchanges and develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty, staff and institutions.

TOKO UNIVERSITY

Toko University and OLFU entered into an Educational Exchange Agreement wherein both parties agreed to:

  • Establish an academic exchange of researchers, faculty members      and students.
  • Engage in academic research topics and hold an academic conference together.
  • Discuss any financial issues that arise in regards to researchers, faculty members, and exchange students and will determine appropriate solutions.

LAN YANG INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2010)

A Memorandum of Agreement was entered into by Lan Yang Institute of Technology and OLFU for academic exchange and cooperation that would allow students to study in OLFU for three years and one year in Lan Yang.

MEIHO UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2012)

In accordance with a mutual desire to promote cooperation between Meiho University and OLFU, the two institutions agree to enter into a formal Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of scientific and cultural exchange.  The two institutions have mutually agreed to initiate a cooperative in areas of mutual interests for the following purposes:

* Exchange of faculty scholars and students for lecturing advanced studies and research.

* Exchange of information theses, teaching materials and other technological and scientific literature.

* Cooperation on scientific and technological research.

* Organization of bilateral joint symposia, workshops, and conferences.

HSIN SHENG COLLEGE OF MEDICAL CARE AND MANAGEMENT

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2012)

In accordance with a mutual desire to promote cooperation between Hsin Sheng College of Medical Care and Management (HSC) and OLFU, the two institutions agree to enter into a formal Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of scientific and cultural exchange.  The two institutions have mutually agreed to initiate a cooperative in areas of mutual interests for the following purposes:

* Exchange of faculty scholars and students for lecturing advanced studies and research.

* Exchange of information theses, teaching materials and other technological and scientific literature.

* Cooperation on scientific and technological research.

* Organization of bilateral joint symposia, workshops, and conferences.

* Exchange visits by members of faculty of the institutions.

* Conducting joint and integrated programs for students.

THAILAND

CHIANG MAI UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2009)

Chiang Mai University and the College of Dentistry of OLFU entered into an agreement for academic collaboration, the secondment of thesis advisors and project consultants, joint research, faculty staff and student exchange, curriculum development, joint seminars, and information exchange.

CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY OF THAILAND

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Christian University of Thailand and OLFU, the two universities agreed to foster academic exchanges.  This partnership aims to both universities in their pursuit of excellence through exchange of ideas, programs, activities, students and faculty.

RANGSIT UNIVERSITY

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

The partnership of Rangsit University and OLFU agreed to promote academic exchanges and develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty, staff and institutions.

SIAM UNIVERSITY

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Siam University and OLFU, the two universities agreed to foster a student exchange program.  This includes any program offered by either institution that contributes to the promotion and development of the relationship between the two universities.

VIETNAM

HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF TRANSPORT

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2014)

The agreement between Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and OLFU aims to promote academic exchanges for students and internships, faculty and staff, joint research projects and activities, academic symposia and conferences, short course training programs as well as develop academic collaborations to be of mutual benefit to their students, faculty and staff, and institutions.

UNITED KINGDOM

MAGNA CARTA COLLEGE, OXFORD

Professor David Faulkner, Dean Emeritus of Magna Carta College of the United Kingdom was welcomed by the OLFU community as he spoke on “Cross-Cultural issues in the Globalized World”. The lecture touched on the benefits of completing undergraduate courses and graduate programs in UK.

U.S.A.

JACKSON PARK HOSPITAL, CHICAGO

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2002)

The Memorandum of Agreement between Jackson Park Hospital and OLFU’s College of Medicine allows 4th year Medicine students to have their clerkship program with the former.  Students are rotated in different specialties to provide a unique learning experience.

PENINSULA HOSPITAL CENTER, NEW YORK

Peninsula Hospital Center in New York partnered with OLFU for a two-year period where a clerkship-to-clerkship program for 4th year medical students will be implemented, giving them a chance to be assigned in Surgery and Family Medicine and Community Health.  This program is expected to increase their knowledge and to make them to be more competitive in the field of Medicine.

HARBOR HOSPITAL, BALTIMORE

(PARTNERSHIP ESTABLISHED IN 2008)

Both parties entered into an educational agreement to provide clinical education to its students and access to both hospital staff and facilities.
