Class Suspension for Wednesday (15 August 2018) Pampanga Campus- No classes in all levels. Offices will be open.
July 2017, OLFU Quezon City Campus
“How can we possibly join?” “What are the requirements?” “When is the screening?” These are just a few of the questions asked by Senior High School (SHS) and College students alike when a wide array of social organizations put up their booths during the Organization Fair last July 5 – 8, 2017.
As the class presidents were invited to join, organize, and prepare the organizational booth fair, the rest of their peers had their chance to enlist in a variety of organizations or clubs. SHS students chose from the following: Campus Ministry, Performing Arts, Math & Science, Creative Arts Guild, Sports and the Varsity Team (Junior Phoenix). On the other hand, College students had a wide picking from interest clubs that were college- or program based, academic-based, and interest and chapter-based.
The fair brought creativity, front and center. An interplay of design, tactic and strategy came to play as each organization showcased their respective strengths and offerings. There were impromptu auditions, mini-demos, lectures, product displays are just some of the techniques employed in inviting prospective members.
Together, these student organizations are serving up a medley of social and co-curricular activities geared at strengthening learners’ potentials as both leaders and followers; not to mention, also making the process fun-filled, relaxing and worthwhile. The goal is to keep that perfect balance between academic and co-curricular pursuits, making for well-rounded individuals.
