Opteon, an international intellectual property advising and skills development company based in Australia, in collaboration with Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), held a skills development workshop about the Habits of Highly Successful Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) at the Le Monet Room of San Lorenzo Building in OLFU Valenzuela.
Philip Mendes presented during the event. He is a seasoned technology transfer lawyer and an adjunct professor at Queensland University of Technology teaching Management and Commercialization of Intellectual Property. Participants of the skills development workshop were Technology Transfer Officers in Luzon, including the Innovation and Technology Support Officers (ITSO) of OLFU, Michell Gonong, Niel Abesamis, and Christopher Patricio, with OLFU’s ITSO Manager, Dr. Michael Joseph Diño.
The event was the last leg in the Habits of Highly Successful TTOs workshop series of Opteon in Asia. It had been previously conducted in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bangkok.
