OLFU’s Dr. Enriquez & Dr. Cordova,

Hailed Outstanding Educators by ACLADEB

26 January 2017, Cagayan de Oro City-  The Asean+ Council of Leaders, Administrators, Deans and Educators in Business (ACLADEB) conveys awards upon two leaders of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU). These are:

"Most Outstanding CEO Global Education Award”

Awarded to Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez, University

“Highest Distinction of Leadership | Excellence in

Education Asia“

Awarded to Dr. Ignacio C. Cordova, Jr., OLFU’s Dean of the College of Business & Accountancy (CBA)  and the College of Hospitality and  Institutional Management (CHIM)

In his letter to Dr. Enriquez, ACLADEB Senior Executive Vice President, Franklin T. Agamata, CPA, MBA said, “Your immense contribution to the field of your expertise has set remarkable benchmarks to multifarious human activities and brought hope to many that aspire to do the same while inspiring others to yield for more. Your deeds have mirrored the values that our association has set to accomplish”.

On the other hand, Dr. Cordova is cited by ACLADEB for his “immeasurable contribution in the field management and executive leadership towards diversified education that set remarkable benchmarks…”

The prestigious distinctions were formally presented to Dr. Enriquez and Dr. Cordova during the Third ASEAN+ Convention 2017, Cultural and Awards Night at the Chali Beach Resort and Conference Center.

Meanwhile, plenary sessions also marked the two-day event (January 26 & 27). Themed “ASEAN Region Business Education and Practices: Influence to the Global Economy”,  OLFU- CBA delegates were: Wilbert Corpin, MBA- Faculty Member, Valenzuela Campus; Arsenia Gallardo, MBA- Program Head, Valenzuela Campus, and Rolando Palad, MBA- Program Head, Antipolo Campus.

ACLADEB’s ASEAN Conventions typically bring together educators, administrators and leaders from higher education institutions. Its conferences revolve around regional synergies in business and education in the growing ASEAN markets.

As OLFU is poised to celebrate its 50th Anniversary in February 2017, these particular awards achieved by Dr. Enriquez and Dr. Cordova add even more significance to the observance of what is deemed to be one of the most momentous milestones in Fatima’s history; support that leadership strategies are taking education to the next level, and inspire OLFU to keep raising the bar in all its endeavours.
