OLFU College of Physical Therapy Academe – Industry Linkages and Pathways Dialogue

This bi-annual meeting was spearheaded by the Dean of the College of Physical Therapy, Dr.  Mary Anne Santos , together with the Program heads from different campuses : Ms. Maritoni Pablo (Valenzuela), Mr. Jowil Deray (Quezon City) and Mr. Michael dela Paz ( Antipolo) and  Internship coordinators – Ms. Rowena Alejo (Home Based- IC) and Mr. Alexis Maranan (Travelling IC). They were enjoined by the different clinical supervisors from the partner affiliation centers.


Along with the college’s vision and mission, the meeting aims to further achieve the standards of practice in the internship program as perceived in the CMO23 series 2007 as well as to meet the global competitiveness among the Our lady of Fatima University -  Physical Therapy interns. Furthermore, it aims to open up for research related opportunities between the academic partners for the advancement of the profession. 


The AILP meeting concluded with the appointment of members to the AILP Advisory Board Council and recognition of the affiliation centers for their  outstanding contribution in the wholistic  development of  students’ competence in clinical setting.


Indeed, this collaboration with the academic industry partners reflects the commitment  of the OLFU- College of Physical Therapy in keeping  abreast with the best practices in their field of expertise to  produce competent graduates as it continues its pursuit  in raising  the bar of  excellence
