Mr. OLFU Crowned 1st Runner-Up in Gentlemen of the Philippines Tilt

City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Pampanga’s son and reigning Mr. OLFU 2016, Miguel Alexis Maliwat, now adds another coveted title to his credentials--- that of

 1st Runner Up in the recently-concluded Gentlemen of the Philippines competition.

 

In late July 206, the pageant presented gentlemen of Filipino descent from all corners of the country, as well as from overseas, to compete in the Gentlemen of the Philippines Coronation Night at the Trinity University of Asia. Maliwat’s intellect, talents and boy-next-door good looks shone through, earning him the 1st Runner-Up spot. Wining candidates will be representing the Philippines in international male pageants abroad in fulfilling the pageant’s mission of promoting the diverse and dynamic culture of the Philippines.

In February 2016 at the prestigious Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) staged its iconic “Mr. & Ms. OLFU 2016” pageant. Being an ambassador of goodwill for the University has been Maliwat’s main thrust as title-holder. He serves as a role model for other students as he leads a well-rounded lifestyle, balancing academics and extra-curricular activities, and as he showcases great personality, strength of character and sound moral values--- a true Fatimanian out to “improve man as man”, one step at a time.
