FATIMA UNIVERSITY PARTNERS WITH DEPED PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS IN BRIGADA ESKWELA 2014

The Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), as part of its annual summer activity to assist the Department of Education public highschools during the National Schools Maintenance Week, will help in the BrigadaEskwela this coming May 19 to 24, 2014 in preparation for the opening of classes this June 2014. This will be a university-wide effort involving the OLFUÕs four campuses. Thus, four major cities will benefit from this initiative, namely, Valenzuela City, Quezon City, Antipolo City, and San Fernando City, Pampanga.A total 40 public high schools will be the recipients of OLFUÕs assistance through beautification and repainting, cleanliness, donations of arm chairs and other school-related provisions. To help in the cleanliness and beautification drive will be selected National Service Training Program (NSTP) students of the OLFU who will also be involved as part of their Civic Welfare Serviceimmersion program. Listed below are the lists of partner schools of each campus. VALENZUELA CITY CAMPUS - Gen. T. de Leon National High School, Dalandanan National High School, Malinta National High School, Polo National High School, Maysan National High School, Valenzuela National High School, Vicente P. Trinidad National High School, Canumay National High School, Parada National High School, Juliever Academy and St. Catherine College of Valenzuela. ANTIPOLO CITY CAMPUS - Antipolo National High School, Sta. Elena High School, Mayamot National High School, Manggahan High School, San Jose National High School, San Isidro National High School, San Roque National High School, Marikina High School, Francisco P. Felix Memorial National High School, and Ta–ong High School. QUEZON CITY CAMPUS Ð LagroHigh School, Commonwealth High School, Novaliches High School, Balasan National High School, Maligaya High School, Tala High School, Camarin High School, San Bartolome High School PAMPANGA CAMPUS -Pampanga High School, Sindalan High School, San Matias High School, Malino High School, San Juan High School, Mexico High School, San Luis High School, Nuestra Senora del Pila Integrated School, San Vicente Pilot School. NSTP teachers and students of Our Lady of Fatima University helped in the cleanliness drive last April 2014 at the SitioDelfin near Tullahan River, Valenzuela City. OLFU will also partner with public schools for their BrigadaEskwela 2014 this coming May 19-25. NSTP students will again be tapped to help public high schools prepare for the coming opening of classes this June 2014.
