Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez, President of the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) is selected by the Filipina Women’s Network as one of the “100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World (Global FWN100TM)”. The Filipina Women’s Network is a San Francisco, USA-based, non-profit professional organization for women of Philippine ancestry with members worldwide that promote social welfare of Filipino women and advocate for Filipina women’s rights by providing the content, credibility and community to help women of Philippine ancestry succeed in their businesses and careers. The Global FWN100 Award recognizes 100 women of Philippine ancestry who are changing the face of leadership in the global workplace, having reached status for outstanding work in their respective fields and are recognized for their achievement and contributions to society, femtorship and legacy. Enriquez was selected from an outstanding field of nominees from around the world.
Innovator and Thought Leader Award Goes to Enriquez
To be formally awarded on 23 August 2016 during the 13th Filipina Leadership Global Summit in Cebu, Enriquez is being recognized for breaking ground in the field of education by initiating and implementing a comprehensive vision of inclusive education that seeks to improve the lives of the students. Her visionary leadership of Fatima University has transformed the delivery of education to their academic community by ensuring that quality standards are in place and that all stakeholders have developed a paradigm shift towards customer satisfaction. Today, the University supports over 3,000 scholars a year, and consistently produces top-rankers in professional board exams in programs such as Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Dentistry, and more. With her at the helm, she has initiated and transformed the university through various innovative programs that enhance the students’ learning experience while delivering quality education at an affordable cost. With the support of the Board of Trustees, the university now operates five institutional campuses in Valenzuela, Quezon City, Antipolo, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija . The international academic linkages and intensive industry linkages established have opened up channels for Fatima students to globalize their skills and learning. These are but a few of Enriquez’ achievements, of which more are to come as this story develops.
