Our Lady of Fatima University College of Nursing Deans - Lurceli L. Santos and Nelia R. Capulong, were invited to speak as Plenary Speakers at the recently concluded International Conference in Nursing last July 21-22, 2016 at SD Avenue Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event, with the theme on “Elderly Care Excellence Through Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, centered on the interesting and contemporary topics on Gerontologic Healthcare. This conference was organised by The Graduate School and College of Nursing of the Christian University of Thailand, and co-presented by Keimyung University (Korea), Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (Indonesia), International Islamic University (Malaysia), and Our Lady of Fatima University (Philippines).
Dean Capulong discussed the ASEAN Perspectives of Elderly Care, while Dean Santos presented Technology-Driven Geriatric Nursing Care. Both highlighted the best-practices in education, clinical settings and research in the Philippines relating to care of the elderly.
The College of Nursing of the Our Lady of Fatima University is firmly committed in fostering partnership with its ASEAN and international counterparts in improving nursing education, practice and research.
