CHED recognizes OLFU BSHRM as COE and BS Pharmacy as COD

The Administration of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) proudly announces the recognition given by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to the College of Hospitality and Institutional Management (CHIM) – Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (Valenzuela City Campus) as CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (COE) and to the College of Pharmacy (Valenzuela City Campus) as CENTER OF DEVELOPMENT (COD).  These two recognitions were announced through Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 38, Series of 2015 dated December 23, 2015 with Subject: Designated Center of Excellence (COEs) and Centers of Development (CODs) for Various Disciplines signed by Patricia B. Licuanan, Ph.D, CHED Chairperson. Both recognitions will take effect on January 1, 2016 until December 31, 2018.

 

Based on this CHED memorandum, OLFU is the one of the five (5) higher education institutions (HEIs) in the nation whose BSHRM program received the COE recognition while OLFU-College of Pharmacy is the only HEI in the nation whose BS Pharmacy program received the COD recognition.

 

The OLFU Administration and the whole OLFU community would like to congratulate Dr. Ignacio C. Cordova, Jr., Dean of the College of Hospitality and Institutional Management, Ms. Olive de Vera, Dean of College of Pharmacy, faculty members and students of CHIM and College of Pharmacy for this well-deserved recognition.
